Bay Pointe residents Ruth and Gee-Gee had fun while sharing ideas about sewing techniques, cutting patterns and designs of pillow cases .They got the sillies when they decided that all they could sew now were pillow cases! 😊 "The most wasted of all days is one without laughter"

Bay Pointe's annual Christmas celebration was festive as always. Family photos were taken with our most amazing Santa. We showcased our newest wine, Bay Pointe Blackberry Wine and enjoyed the delicious holiday food fare by our awesome chefs.

Bay Pointe resident Mary is a retired Sales Associate from JC Penny's. She had worked in sales for 30 years in California and Washington state.  Mary will tell you that the best part of being in sales was being able to assist her customers.

Bay Pointe staff, Danny and Shirley are hard at work bringing holiday cheer to the Marine Courte Dining Room. It takes a week to finish decorating both Marine Courte and Bay Pointe Retirement.

Sharon Wickett is our LIFE award winner for December. Her focus on the residents for the past seven years is a wonderful contribution to our team. On a personal note, Sharon has two grown sons and loves to cook Norwegian cuisine. Congrats Sharon for being a rock star team member

Have fun!! Well, our folks at Bay Pointe Retirement know how to have fun and paint at the same time. Here Yvonne shares her abstract creation that she proudly displays.

'Tis the season for smiles and giggles! Our ladies at Bay Pointe Retirement are having a grand ole time decorating one of our many Christmas Trees. Christmas seems to bring out the youth in all of us! Thank you ladies for helping to "sprucify" our Bay Pointe home.

Bay Pointe residents Dorla and Yvonne enjoyed the Holiday Fair / Gift Food Fair in Bremerton. While shopping at all the various booths is fun their favorite is anything jewelry. As you can see all the big smiles in anticipation of the big purchase!!

Bay Pointe residents love it when they can create with expressive painting. Today we are painting with water colors. Creative art comes with multiple benefits. Helping residents relax, reducing depression and anxiety and assists with socialization.

Our therapy dog group never fails to bring smiles. This month they all dressed up for Halloween. It isn't easy getting them all to sit for a picture. The small breeds get to sit in chairs. For more information on chapters in your area contact tdi-dog.org

Marine Courte residents are getting ready for the fall season with creatively decorated pumpkins. Who says pumpkins have to be orange! Carole is all smiles as she displays her decorated pumpkin. Looks great Carole!

Marine Courte resident Akiko celebrated her 101st Birthday this week. She shares her birthday with her daughter Aiko who also was born on that day. Happy Birthday ladies and thanks for being part of our Marine Courte and Bay Pointe Team.
