As we mentioned yesterday, 50% of sepsis survivors suffer PSS which usually lasts between 6 and 18 months, sometimes longer. If you are a sepsis survivor experiencing PSS, don’t suffer in silence. Tell your caregivers about PSS & how it’s affecting you.

Earlier this week, Bill Clinton was admitted to a California Hospital for sepsis. The former president's doctors have been monitoring him closely and have stated that he is responding well to antibiotics and hope to have him home soon. Read more here: buff.ly/3AJuko1

🔥 Let’s keep the momentum going! ⛳️ The PGA Tour is in Las Vegas for the second consecutive week, this time for the CJ Cup. This event is normally played in South Korea but moved to Las Vegas because of the pandemic. 📺 Tune in for @marcleish tee time a 11:20 PDT.

Katelynn gave birth & didn’t get proper care following delivery. She developed a uterine infection that led to sepsis. After a week in the hospital, away from her newborn, Katelynn is back home with her children. Help survivors just like Katelynn at beginagainfoundation.com.

TOGETHER we do incredible things! During the last quarter we were able to help survivors of erase $24,000 of debt. During this critical time of recovery, we love being able to give survivors and their families peace of mind so they can focus on what really matters - healing.

Sending a B.I.G. thank you to all our volunteers & blood donors who joined us at our drive for the @americanredcross last week. 33 units were collected which means 99 lives will be saved thanks to your support. Stay tuned for the next opportunity to support the community.

The sudden loss of a loved one is unfathomable. Sadly, there is a need to provide aid to families in mourning. Our Angel Fund awards one-time $1,000 grants to bereaved families to assist with the expense of laying a loved one who has passed from Sepsis, ARDS or TSS to rest.

Thanks to your generosity, we granted 10 survivors a one-time $1,000 grant. In partnership with Patient Advocate Foundation, the LEISHLine Financial Aid Fund works to support patients who have an ARDS, Sepsis &/or TSS verified diagnosis. Please call (855)824-7941 for information.

Meet sepsis survivor, Sophia Moore. Sophia, 13, has experienced sepsis 3 times so far in 2021. The first was the most disastrous because it caused an 8-minute cardiac arrest from septic shock that damaged all of her major organs & eventually caused a bowel perforation. #saysepsis
