Boone County schools are closed Monday. Most teachers will be heading to Frankfort to protest budget cuts. Ockerman Elementary in Florence is bagging lunches for low income families so that students can still get a meal. @WCPO

Packing food for our kids !

It’s essential our teachers feel valued and supported. If we are to prepare Kentucky students to succeed in college and the workforce, our educators can’t be worried about changes to their compensation or retirement that will affect their livelihoods.
