🚨Granit Xhaka on his collapsed move to Manchester United in 2023 and the recent links with Chelsea during the 2026 FIFA World Cup:
🗣️ “People don’t know how close it actually was in 2023.”
“There were conversations, there was genuine interest, and for a moment it looked like it could happen.”
“But football is unpredictable. Sometimes deals collapse because of timing, sometimes because clubs can’t reach an agreement, and sometimes because life simply takes you in a different direction.”
“Now I hear people talking about Chelsea, and it’s flattering when clubs of that level are mentioned alongside your name.”
“At this stage of my career, I don’t get carried away by rumours. I’ve been in football long enough to know that until something is signed, it’s only speculation.”
“I’ve never had any regrets because every decision I made helped shape my career, but of course you always think about what might have been.”
“Manchester United is a club every footballer respects. You don’t become one of the biggest clubs in the world by accident.”
“If the call ever came again, of course I would listen.”
“Manchester United is the biggest club in England and one of the biggest clubs in world football. Opportunities like that don’t come around often.”
“If that opportunity presented itself again, I wouldn’t hesitate to answer.”

SCALONI SPEECH AHEAD OF JORDAN TIE:
SCALONI 🎙️🗣️|| "You always have to take precautions regarding what the opponent has. In this World Cup, it is being seen that there are teams that play in different ways and several of them are getting results.
“The great merit of everything that has been done goes to the guys who are always there and train to their maximum. I think that when there’s an opportunity, there are great players who also deserve to come in. And the idea is for the team to play in the same way.
“When playing with this shirt, it doesn’t matter the moment, the need for points or not. This means going out to play and doing it well, always trying to win. That’s why we maintain the same way and anxiety as the first day.
“The decision of who plays tomorrow has nothing to do with who will play the next match.
“If it happens, we could take advantage to test systems. Jordan tends to play with five defenders and it’s a system that means you have to move differently if you play with a back four. We have worked on it and the team wouldn’t have any issues with modifying something.”
The mentality of the Argentine warriors is insane 😱

🚨 Mourinho Is Back: The Special One Explains Why He Returned to Real Madrid and What Comes Next
In his first interview since returning to Real Madrid, José Mourinho addressed the biggest talking points surrounding his comeback, from handling a dressing room full of superstars to shutting down transfer rumours and even revealing why he wants his own players eliminated from the World Cup.
Interviewer: José, welcome back to Real Madrid. There’s already plenty of discussion about managing a dressing room full of world-class players. How do you see it?
José Mourinho: Managing egos is the best problem a coach can have. The best players are the best problem a coach can have. If you want to compete for the biggest trophies, you need the biggest talents. My responsibility is to make those players work together as one team.
Interviewer: Have you ever had to make a difficult decision to establish authority within the squad?
José Mourinho: Of course. I remember one player who didn’t want to take a small injection to be available for a match. I took off my shoe and sock, put my foot in front of him and told the doctor, “Give me the injection.” The doctor did it, and then I looked at the player and said, “Come on, you can do it too.”
He looked at me and said, “No, you’re crazy.”
Well… he didn’t play another match with me. Sometimes leadership is about setting standards.
Interviewer: What convinced you to return to Real Madrid?
José Mourinho: I love Real Madrid, and that’s the reason why I’m coming back. I don’t deny it. This club has a unique history, a winning mentality, and an ambition that matches my own. When the opportunity came, it was an easy decision.
Interviewer: There have been reports suggesting you’ll rebuild the squad by moving on players who supposedly created problems last season. Is there any truth to that?
José Mourinho: Not at all. I’ve read those stories, but they’re not true. I want these players because they’re among the best in the world. My objective isn’t to remove quality, it’s to bring the quality together.
Interviewer: Finally, the FIFA World Cup is underway. As a club manager, what are you hoping to see?
José Mourinho: (Laughs) People won’t like this answer, but I want the Real Madrid players to lose…
…because I want them back with me for pre-season in July. Every coach wants his players available as early as possible. That’s football.
