@noctwong Raccoon city It's only one street and no ennemi variety for leon it's honestly boring on replay RPD there is nothing to do, they hype it so much for literally nothing No crazy mutated licker, no new monster, nothing to do there

@noctwong More weapons for Grace & better enemy variety for Leon. More areas to explore in Racoon City & the R.P.D. That's really it on my end.

@northsideidiot @noctwong I agree. I honestly wish the Racoon city parts weren't mostly complete action either. I was hoping for maybe a Survival Horror Grace part in Racoon city. So much potential for new scares there.

@noctwong I personally didn’t like Leon’s raccoon city part as much as I thought I would. The title card was a nostalgia trip, and visiting the RPD, but after that it quickly faded away and felt like it dragged too much imo

@noctwong Leon being infected again was pretty much wasted again. They could have done some really interesting things with it. Too bad. Think RE 3.5. Leon sure isn't afraid of anything physical anymore but if they broke him down psychologically that could have been interesting.

@GigaGruesome I was extremely disappointed that they had the opportunity in both RE4R and Resident Evil Requiem that they didn't attempt at least a portion of trying some scary as shit hallucination stuff. At the very least Resident Evil 8 had the creepy dolls and giant baby segments.

@GigaGruesome I wish. I don't think Capcom would ever attempt it nowadays in terms of gameplay but I really think a story where the main character that's infected with a virus that's making them go insane with hallucinations would be hella interesting.

On this day in 2023, Resident Evil 4 was released, picking up on Leon's adventures with a new B.O.W. threat after Resident Evil 2 (2019). Wonder what he's up to these days? 🤔
