While I was at #Gamescom I had the chance to be interviewed by @CapcomGermanyPR about the #OnimushaWayoftheSword demo. I was surprised because I wasn't expecting it but am glad to had the opportunity to share some initial impressions of the game! @OnimushaGame

🚨 CONFIRMADO 🚨 @PlayStation ha ELIMINADO de nuestro historial de juegos del perfil todos los juegos que hayamos jugado mediante disco. Esto es así desde hace 10 días, al principio no le di importancia pensando que se trataba de un error puntual que arreglarían, pero visto lo visto ayer, lo más probable es que no sea casualidad. A saber si lo arreglaran… Se salvan únicamente juegos físicos de los cuales tengamos cualquier complemento digital adquirido a través de PlayStation Store, ya sean Expansiones, DLCs, cosméticos o actualizaciones a ediciones Deluxe. Tampoco salen juegos que hayamos jugado mediante cuentas secundarias. ¿Error o declaración de intenciones?

Seguro que muchos os habéis dado cuenta de que hay muchos errores en nuestras cuentas de PlayStation Network. ❌ Muchos de nuestros juegos han desaparecido de nuestro perfil. 💿 La mayoría de estos son juegos que hemos jugado mediante disco o con una cuenta secundaria. ⏱️ Muchos de estos juegos han perdido las horas jugadas o presentan errores a la hora de mostrarlas. 🎮 Los juegos que tenemos digitales, de PS Plus o con componentes online no presentan fallos. 😶‍🌫️ No se puede ocultar ni desocultar juegos que han desaparecido de nuestro perfil. Son pequeñas tonterías y todo lo demás funciona, pero llevamos más de una semana así y son aspectos que siempre han funcionado más o menos bien. Hay gente que solo juega en físico y se le han borrado todos sus juegos del perfil. @PlayStationES o alguien sabe si se va a arreglar o si se va a quedar así? ¿A vosotros también os pasa esto que digo no?

So I guess these will be the last few games that I get physically on #PS5. Should also point out that I hate that I even have to rely on LRG for Onimusha 2 but I bet you that we'll start seeing more companies just going straight to them before 2028 for physical production.

Cada una irá por separado. 2. 💶 Podeis reservar en preventa de los PNGs de "Los Glaseados" antes de que se acaben. 3. 📆 Dentro de un año sacaremos el FriedChicken Pass. Tendréis todo nuestro catalogo por un módico precio al mes. 4. 🌏 No se permitirán usar VPNs para acceder a menús de otros paises ni compartir los PNGs con amigos. 5. 🚨 Como pirateeis los PNGs en pinterest iremos a vuestra casa.

@PlayStation This is a really bad decision, if you want to lose long time fans who actually buy games and move on from your platform then this is a way to do it. But there is a way to reverse this decision, the stock needs to crash. $SONY

@PlayStation Cool, so in the future we should expect an email like this:

Sony's stupidity, short sightedness and arrogance on this matter is staggering in ways that I can barely get my head around. You're seriously telling me that someone who makes these PR decisions thought it was a good idea to reveal this mere WEEKS after the publicity surrounding the court case against them over the fact they regularly charge £70 for a "digital licence" for a glorified game rental that they can revoke whenever they feel like it AND an actual real world example of this happening with 500 digital movie purchases being delisted/revoked. They think they're bulletproof at this stage but this is gonna have massive financial implications for them. I have spoken to five people today of my Playstation collecting friends and have many more still to talk to. ALL of them have said this was the final nail in the coffin and they're dropping Playstation going forward. Some aren't even waiting until the cut off date for physical in Jan 2028. Citing "consumer trends" is bullshit. It's price fixing. They want you to pay around £70 for a game you don't own so they can take it back. They don't want ownership of discs to be a thing anymore because they can't control pricing on it and can't resell it to you a few years later, simple as that. Then there's the separate issue of them effectively telling us they don't give a damn about preservation either. Xbox is moving away from consoles so they aren't gonna be an option anymore. We can still get SOME physical switch games where 100% of the game is on card but it kinda feels like in a world where digital is becoming pushed increasingly it's gonna be Steam who come out on top. At least they (along with GOG) have a contingency plan to guarantee you can play your library without online authentication. I'm gonna finish off the gaps in my collections for franchises I've exclusively collected on Playstation and then I'm done. I'll probably go pre-owned just so they don't get any more of my money as well. I guess I'm collecting retro and switch only physically from now on and waiting for Steam sales for everything else. Think I'll spend my physical sony money going forward for games I WOULD have bought on PS5 on the Neo Geo AES Plus instead and some lovely physical games that can't be taken back 😎 1995 to 2026 was a good run but I guess the dream is dead.
