Also, in the best case scenario that this plan can somehow simultaneously elevate Utah athletics while maintaining the experience that makes college sports great, I expect the state legislature will meddle with it and mess it up.

This seems to be the inevitable outcome for college sports, and I hope it works out well in the end, but I do wish it wasn’t my team trying it first.
