Fellow Zimbabweans, I come to you at this unusual hour, my heart heavy with sorrow. I am in pain that I might not see the new Zimbabwe after Emmerson, but I take solace in the hope that you will continue the faith for a free and prosperous nation - the Zimbabwe I fiercely fought for. I have walked a difficult path, one filled with pain and sacrifice. Like many of you, I joined this struggle at a tender age. We fought fierce battles, and the memories of our dear comrades who fell to the enemy’s guns and bombs still haunt us. But this did not deter us; it fortified our resolve. Each of us hoped to witness a better Zimbabwe, one where every dream counted. The colonial system was oppressively and socially, economically, and politically discriminatory, The oppressors stole our dignity, our humanity, and our livelihoods. We bled to reclaim what was rightfully ours, our dignity, identity, and humanity. I salute all the heroes of our liberation struggle, both alive and departed. To those who gave their lives, let me assure you: you did not die in vain. Your aspirations will soon be realised. When we recognised that Mugabe had betrayed the covenant forged in our battle for this country, we made the decision to remove him in November 2017, filled with hope for a government that would correct those wrongs. I have since apologised for my role in that removal. Yet, what followed has been a nightmare. Mnangagwa has fared even worse, completely neglecting the values we fought for. As Vice President Constantino Chiwenga said, we fought for a country where everyone has a place at the table. Yet today, we witness unprecedented levels of corruption, with Emmerson, his sons, and a select few like Kuda Tagwirei, Wicknell Chivhayo, and Scott Sakupwanya pillaging our nation. The Zviganandas have captured the State. They are robbing this country dry. They are stealing from you, from your children, and from your future. We are witnessing a collapse of public institutions, cronyism, and nepotism like we’ve never seen before. Last year, I exposed their corrupt activities and called for collective action to remove Emmerson from power. But shamefully, using surrogates like Ziyambi Ziyambi and Virginia Mabhiza, he seeks to reward himself with more years to loot our land dry. This will never happen. I vow to fight this from the grave. Vana Ziyambi muchamhanya chete. As I reflect on my journey, my heart aches, not from despair, but from overwhelming hope that you, the people of Zimbabwe, will unite to reclaim our land from the self-serving and corrupt leaders of today. In a nation rich in potential and mineral wealth, I have seen many of you break down in despair. We have suffered under the weight of betrayal, and yet, we have risen in defiance. Our dream is within reach. Brothers, sisters, comrades, and friends, the path we have walked together is paved with tears. Last year, as I stood before you, I proclaimed, “We will not rest until those who loot our resources are brought to justice!” Those words were not mere rhetoric; they reflected our collective pain and yearning for freedom. I have demanded that our leaders understand the burdens you bear, the hunger, the heartbreak, the dreams deferred. We cannot allow the thieves in power to rob us of our future. With each shout against corruption, I felt the spirit of our fallen heroes rise within us, urging us to reclaim our birthright. As Vice President Chiwenga wisely warned, “A nation that allows corruption to flourish is doomed to fail.” Our fight is against Emmerson and his corrupt cabal; we must not allow them to crush our spirits. Together, we hold the power to demand change and ignite a new world for our children. As I speak to you now, I feel my energy sapping; I might not be here tomorrow, next week, or next month. Yet, I will be gratified, knowing I fought a noble war and that you will carry it forward to remove Emmerson and end the plunder of our country.

As we welcome the New Year, I promise you that 2026 will be a year of significant events. Systems built on corruption will ultimately collapse under their own weight. Lies cannot endure indefinitely, and fear can only reign for a time. As we have seen, there is no honour among thieves, they have begun to turn on one another. Always remember that when power becomes insecure, history shifts. Emmerson will GO. I urge Zimbabweans to remain focused and send Emmerson packing. He is not our leader; he is the source of our suffering. He is the reason we endured a bleak and painful Christmas, the reason we struggle to educate our children, and the reason our healthcare system is in ruins, leading to unnecessary deaths. He is responsible for the disgraceful state of our roads, do not be swayed by propaganda; those who travelled during the Christmas holiday understand this all too well. While we grapple with these many issues, Emmerson and his Zvigananda cohorts distribute luxury cars, oblivious to the degradation of our social services. Buying you. I know some of you are easily bought because of hunger and I know that HUNGER SPEAKS LOUDER THAN LOGIC. But the reality is always that: MONEY CAN HEAL TODAY’S HUNGER BUT IT CAN NEVER HEAL TOMORROW’s PAIN. I implore you to remain steadfast in 2026. Do not lose hope. Change founded on truth and justice may be slow, but it is enduring, and it is coming. I wish you and your families a PROSPEROUS New Year. May the coming year usher in renewal, accountability, and the restoration of the values for which so many sacrificed. Zimbabwe will rise again, not through corruption, not through constitutional manipulation, but through truth, justice, and the will of its people. The struggle continues. Aluta continua. As we approach the end of 2025, I extend my warmest greetings to all progressive Zimbabweans, both at home and abroad. I trust you will agree that 2025 was a year many would want to quickly forget. Zimbabwe’s economy continued on the precipice and life has not been easy for ordinary Zimbabweans. It has been a year marked by truth-telling, resistance, sacrifice, and awakening. Many masks have fallen, lies have been exposed, and countless Zimbabweans have awoken to the realities at stake in our beloved country. Throughout this year, I have consistently spoken out about Emmerson’s corruption, which has birthed a deep moral crisis within ZANU PF. I have made it abundantly clear: Emmerson must go, and he will, regardless of the obstacles in our path. I have made this call not out of bitterness or ambition, but out of a profound sense of duty. To remain silent would be to betray the liberation struggle and the people of Zimbabwe. I speak out because corruption has become institutionalised and there is empathy for the poor. Looters are now parading as leaders, and these thieves lecture the impoverished about the need to be patient with Emmerson and even give him more years to 2030. This will be a pipe dream. I assure you that the 2030 project will die in pregnancy. I warned that the party of liberation was being hijacked by Zvigananda, individuals whose only ideology is stolen wealth, whose only loyalty is to themselves, and whose sole interest in power is control over state resources. They are not revolutionaries; they never fought for this country, nor did they sacrifice anything meaningful. They have simply arrived at the banquet, feasting without shame, while those who gave everything for our freedom are left in poverty. I have also adamantly opposed the so-called 2030 Project and the dangerous bid for a third term for Emmerson. It must be unequivocally recorded that this agenda is not centred on national stability - it is merely a tactic to buy time, shield corruption, evade accountability, and safeguard ill-gotten gains. They understand that they cannot endure under constitutional governance and the rule of law. Zimbabweans must grapple with this painful truth: every attempt to amend, reinterpret, or stretch the Constitution for personal gain weakens our nation. POWER THAT FEARS THE END OF DAYS IS POWER THAT HAS FAILED. Thankfully, the 2030 Project has not progressed as its architects intended. Ziyambi Ziyambi said the process will be rolled out before the festive season. Where is it? Resistance has emerged, both from within and outside ZANU PF. War veterans, who remember the reasons behind our struggle, have firmly rejected the blatant violations of our Constitution. Citizens, too, have said “No.” For speaking this truth, I have paid a personal price. I was forced into hiding, not because I committed any crime, but because I refused to speak lies. But Mwari nevadzimu venyika ino vari kundichengeta. Our history is replete with men and women driven into secrecy to silence the truth. In this case, however, the truth has only grown louder. As we speak, war veterans and many citizens were arrested for wanting to exercise their constitutional rights on 17 October. I assure them arrested that their pain will not be in vain. As for me, my resolve has not weakened during this time; quite the opposite. Being forced into hiding has reignited my desire to ensure that Zimbabwe is run by people who respect the liberation values, not the rubbish we have today. Fallen heroes did not die for Emmerson and his crooks to live on the sweat of Zimbabweans. I remain connected to the heartbeat of Zimbabwe. I hear the cries of workers, vendors, farmers, youths, pensioners, and civil servants. I hear the frustration of a populace told to tighten their belts while others traverse the skies in private jets
