I’ve seen a lot of hate on people collecting first edition cards, non-first edition cards, whatever it is in bulk. I don’t understand the hate. I feel like this is way healthier for the hobby and engagement for fun. The alternative? Throw all your cash at a PSA 10 pop 30,000 Lugia? Open overpriced sealed boxes? That same Lugia that cost about $1,000….I could buy 100 1st edition, Totodiles or more. I know what my choice is, what will yours be? Continue to throw money at modern cards or take a step back and appreciate the good old days?
