Mono Black Pox in Legacy feels pushed right now. This has been my go to list. 5-0 a League with a similar list and topped a Preliminary. Might need to take it further later down the road if it continues. #mtg #MagicTheGathering

@PlayoffKidwell Should be a wake up call for others considering. Often times people overestimate the condition of cards they have too. You could’ve been successful getting it out and still likely remained a 9. Most of the cards that are graded 9 will not regrade a 10 btw.

@wildstwawberry It’s usually not as bad as people make it out to be yeah Daze decks might have legit issues, the majority of decks can seemingly outpace the life loss nowadays. Burn play is also down because it hasn’t been tiered for years.

How embarassing would it be for me to show up to a Legacy event with shocks instead of OG duals?

@Scoop_Phase I’m aware of that too. I ended up paying whole dollars for old border Smothers which is basically outdated removal just about anywhere else

Karn Pox tournaments in Legacy 3-2 1-4 0-4 There were some misplays, but I shouldn’t have to play perfectly to get more wins than that. I likely need to wait until the Karn Pox deck gets more well positioned or add more anti combo cards and worsen the fair decks. #MTG

@Pighway @Bryant_Cook Unfortunately under $200 is unrealistic outside of Burn, but has been proven mostly unreliable long term deck. Mono White Death and Taxes, Mono Black Pox / Aggro, Oops All Spells, etc. are all competitive in some capacity and are inexpensive for Legacy.

This week on DailyMTG Carmen says, "I've met 2 people who said Oops! All Spells is the only way they could play Legacy" as a justification for keeping that deck legal. twitch.tv/videos/2730658… What a load of garbage.

@fireshoes @Bryant_Cook Got a 5-0 about a couple weeks ago with Mono Black Pox it’s a reasonably competitive deck for its price range and is easily accessible. You can temporarily play without the Null Rods and people can pick them up later, they don’t make or break the deck, but it’s good sideboard.

@Bryant_Cook What are some of the other budget Legacy deck options, and where would I be able to take a look at them/import them?

@NSuperGamerGuy @PhysicReleases Late port, the people hyped over it got way before it got ported over. They also didn’t add anything to it to have multi platform users to want to get it. The supply for Persona 3 Reload even on PS5 where it’s superior is currently higher than the people wanting the game now.

Super curious what the game key card sales numbers for Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2 look like cause these have been on the clearance shelf for 3 months straight and they are marked down to like $20 which I'd consider a steal for a long content packed game like this.
