Following very closely the situation in Venezuela. We stand by the people of Venezuela and support a peaceful and democratic transition. Any solution must respect international law and the UN Charter. With HRVP @kajakallas and in coordination with EU Member States, we are making sure that EU citizens in the country can count on our full support.
Allies must act as allies. We must respect each other's sovereignty. Europeans do not share the same vision as the Americans on various issues. This is natural. What we cannot accept is the threat of interference in Europe’s democratic life.
