Now imagine that these kids are 10 years older. This might explain why some adults find maintaining relationships so hard too, because these need resilience too.

Yesterday I submitted the manuscript for The Journey of the Alienated Child to Routledge. It will be published in the Autumn. This book is a reframing of the childhood relational trauma we call 'alienation' to focus on coerced alignment which causes hidden trauma in children.

Men are far more likely to die by suicide. Addressing male suicide should be society’s top priority.

Visibility on this issue at last! Thank you @BBCNews . Our helpline is regularly receiving calls from men who say they are being falsely accused of domestic abuse and feel it is linked to their partner's immigration status. False accusations are a form of domestic abuse too.

She uses divorce in childhood as a source of trauma that so many of us can relate to, either as a child and/or a parent. Hidden trauma that plays out in family courts globally.

@BothParentsGran Totally agree, Frances. We are seeing men as well as women being driven to take their own lives. We’ve both heard these tragic cases—often involving the deep pain of separation from their children, even where there are no safeguarding concerns.

@Jas_Sanghera_ This form of abuse is insidious and deadly and more needs to be done to stop this form of abuse escalating to the point that a victim believes the only way to escape the pain is to do the same thing as Robina. Women and men can both feel trapped #ANDYSMANCLUB

There are a lot of us today raising awareness about the need to address the issues of boys and men, yet some people who feel threatened by the increasing attention dismiss us all with the “manosphere” smear. @ICT_MrP Teachers are an easy target to let off steam at. Too often I've been on the receiving end of verbal abuse. Usually there is something else brewing at home, which rears it's head in the following weeks. This doesn't excuse the outburst, as you say, we're human too.

Unreasonable parents driving teachers out of the profession according to this TES article. Whilst I’m not saying schools are perfect and when a complaint is genuine it should be investigated properly but the level of abuse from parents to teachers being reported is completely
