Apple has FINALLY fixed the iPhone keyboard bug! The release notes for iOS 26.4 say: “improved keyboard accuracy when typing quickly.”

@jayhott215 Correct! This is the first time Apple has officially addressed the keyboard bug

@BrandonButch We are hoping and praying it’s actually fixed , although they never said in the past it was fixed. This is the first time they actually mentioned fixing it.

@BrandonButch What would be your best guess as to the official release date for 26.4?

@dan9700 I did mention it a few times throughout the Betas

@BrandonButch Why didn’t you or any others mention the keyboard bug fix using the betas, is it because it isn’t any better? Maybe now it will be a placebo. If it was truly fixed it would have been found in the beta testing

This is a huge deal for Final Cut Pro. It’s about to get a LOT better!

@jimscard Yep. I agree, I don’t think all of the plugins will be ported over, sadly. I just wonder if MVFX will still be able to live as its own entity or if Apple will shut them down. I really hope it’s not the latter

@BrandonButch All depends on the pricing. Will it be part of ACS? What about standalone FCP owners? I suspect this will largely be a nothing other than a change of ownership and maybe a subset of the plugins becoming part of FCP.

@Geecube3 It’ll get much better, so a price bump is expected. Or a new plan. Regardless, it won’t be as expensive as motionVFX currently is (I pay $69/mo)
