Unfortunately, we had a minimum figure of CAKE that was needed to support the protocol structure, and we were unable to obtain enough to ensure the smooth performance our users have come to expect. Community funding projects in this market is a challenge, and was diverting the efforts of the team away from our most successful protocols. We want to channel our energy into building the best products for our users, and building where we know there is a market fit. While we believe in Breakfast as a concept and remain impressed and excited for the developments being built on BSC, we must return to where our efforts yield the most results for our users. At this time Breakfast Finance is deprioritized, but our focus and attention can be placed back into the growth of Vector Finance and Athena, where we have promising developments for our users that are long overdue.

After careful consideration, the Breakfast team has elected to refund the CAKE received during Cakerush and wind down the Breakfast protocol. You will not need to take any specific actions, as anyone who deposited CAKE into Breakfast will receive it back to their wallet within the next seven days. This decision was not easy for us and was not the anticipated outcome. We appreciate all the support and enthusiasm from our community and partners, and regret that we won’t be able to offer our product on BSC. The launch of Breakfast Fi was an attempt to capture the excitement and innovation of the Pancakeswap VeGauges ecosystem and build on top of this innovation to bring boosted yield to our users. We are immensely grateful for the support of our community and our partners, and for all the time and effort everyone spent in launching our protocol.
