When VRChat+ launched with only basic perks—profile photos, banners, a few extra avatar slots—people groaned (mainly bc of $). Now that it offers more than 5x's the features, the complaints have only grown louder. At some point, it becomes clear the issue isn’t VRChat.

My point here is; when it (VRC+) first released we paid (the same amount we do now.) for ✨less. ✨

@potato55182867 UI: One thing majority of us can agree on is pretty buns. Peds: they will find work arounds unfortunately to come back. NSFW: UGC. Performance: UGC+PC meet the games min. requirements & don’t use "very poor" avi's. Servers: Used to run off one host server. It's better.

@BubsVR The issue is vrchat, but why the fuck do people care about the 10$ a month cosmetic only subscription and not the: Pedophilia problem UGC sucking ass because anything good is not able to be played on quest because they expect creators to optimize for quest 2 and stay under 10mb

I am so happy for Artemis II. I know probably not a lot of people care but if you haven't noticed I have such a big passion for space. Lowkenuinely shed some tears watching the launch. All for one. ❤️

@BubsVR I only groan due to the fact that most of the new things added are specifically for vrc+. And I have groaned about vrc+ since day one

@elfmomvr @Cyberfade1 That's a fair take. If they keep adding features to VRC+ and don’t increase the price, I will continue to support the company. I'd rather have official implementation of the features tho than script kiddies thinking they are "harmful" (Client have monthly payments now too.)

That's another issue. The increasing encroachment of monetization in every aspect of vrchat. And not in a good way. I wouldn't be surprised if avatar slots eventually become part of vrc+. Pay up that monthly sub to access all your avatars. I remember when the camera flight had unlimited range. And they capped it specifically so they could offer it as a drone feature. They banned mods not because of security concerns, or annoyance with troubleshooting, that was just bonus. They did it because people were modding in features they could potentially sell back to you.

@vahvVR Yeah I can see that. Whatever they do implement (if it's not free)-- I'd rather have it be behind VRC+ (considering how many features we get from it, it's just another incentive anyways) instead of buying VRC Bucks everytime for whatever I desire ykno

@BubsVR The issue isnt money or features. this issue is that this is locked behind a recurring subscription rather than being a 1-time purchase (with a discount for vrc+ subs possibly). In order to keep this you are forced to pay $10 every month.

@Cyberfade1 The fact we can upload an unlimited amount of avatars (which I predict will get paywalled eventually) is WILD!! If the complainers came in a jar and sold it to a sperm center, they'd have enough to buy a years worth of VRC+ from how much they perform mutual masturbaition (ERP)

@BubsVR People cry about everything it's so annoying. With how much people live in this game they can provide something. Nothing is free to run especially on the scale of vrc and bandwidth and storage costs.

@ShiroixSakura With them making revenue; it will bring in investors, investors will give them X amount of $ to make the game better in whatever ways. It's like ESPN paywalling your favorite sport behind ESPN+ (F1 😭) or like X making you pay $12+ for the checkmark ykno!

@ShiroixSakura I can see why that's understandable. We also need to look at the financial perspective; The game is free on steam. VRC+ is genuinely their best way of making revenue. If we want the game to do better (like free stuff, stronger servers, QOL enhancements, etc) they need money. - p1

@RaveyKun The people complaining I bet have spent $10 on a BATTLEPASS (and OR skin pack) for COSMETICS on other games too. Which again are all ✨optional✨

@BubsVR Yh I feel like people somehow don't realise you dont HAVE to have the cosmetics. If they dont want to spend the money for stuff, why would u expect to be given the stuff for free??
