The formula for pretty much every KU team that has been good the last 10 years has been 4 guards around a center. 2017 2018 2020 2022 2023 Last elite team Self had with 2 bigs was 2016 with Perry.

@AintNoSeatsPod Yes, if he's coming off the bench. They'd have to nail every other player around him if he's going to start.

Do you want Kameron Taylor at Kansas next year?
KJ@KJScouting

19 year old 6’7 Guard Kameron Taylor is one of the most intriguing longterm NBA Draft Prospects. For the season Taylor averaged 19/5/3 while also averaging 22/4/3 while shooting 47% from the field an 35% from three on 5 attempts a game in Big South play. Taylor is one of the quickest players in college basketball at 6’7 who uses his mix of speed, first step, and vertical athleticism to be one of the most intriguing scorers in college basketball. Taylor uses his athleticism to get to the rim and draw fouls at an elite level, where he shot 59% at the rim on 188 attempts. Taylor is also a high level mid range scorer for his height who also has great touch on his floaters. Taylor’s mix of athleticism, pace, and versatile scoring helped him be one of the efficient PNR scorers in CBB where he finished in the 90th percentile in PNR play on 103 attempts. Taylor is also a skilled passer for his height who can create scoring looks for his teammates, or find an open player with his passing vision, Taylor also does this without turning the ball over. Taylor’s mix of 3 level scoring potential, athleticism, defensive upside, free thro drawing, pace, and playmaking for his size and age is extremely valuable and he has one of the highest ceilings of any player in college basketball. Taylor was one of 5 underclassmen in CBB this season who had an AST% of 15, make 35 threes or more, and had 15 dunks or more, joining AJ Dybantsa, Cam Boozer, Nolan Minessale, and Tyler Tanner.

@DJohnsonRadio You do need more guys than just the five starters. Quality depth has been lacking and he has potential to bring some juice off the bench.

@bturner23 Would he start next to TK? Starting two 6'1 guards doesn't seem ideal at a P4 school.

@WickyWickWhack Of course he can develop, but there is wide gap between that and being a star. I hope he ends up a first team All Big 12 kind of guy, but as of now there's nothing that remotely shows that. Also, he's 19 which is the normal age of a college Frosh.

@Bushdcm @AintNoSeatsPod It’s called development. He should have been a HS senior this year. He’s very athletic, played an shot it well in his limited minutes down the stretch, and always has a high motor,

Really hope Kansas finds a way to keep Kohl Rosario. Dude will be a star someday and it will hurt watching him do that in another uniform.

@HenrTyler @JayhawkSlant @TreWhite19 He was probably the most consistent player on the team. In conference play he scored in double digits all but three games and had 5+ rebounds in all but four.

I can’t believe @TreWhite19 didn’t receive any recognition from the Big 12 today. He’s KU’s second leading scorer (14.3) and rebounder (6.9). I thought White would have received some type of recognition. #kubball

@klseaboldt Just like everything else on here, it's only the vocal 1% that really cares if these guys answer any questions ever. Mostly they're just hoping something is said that they can be mad about.

@KSeaboldt Peterson definitely would take offensive pressure off Council. He shouldn't be leading the team in FGA.

Kelce throws a pitty party after he gets brought down behind the line of scrimmage on one play and then goes out and doesn't catch the ball on the next one which goes for an INT. At least he made a half assed attempt at a tackle this time unlike vs. the Eagles.

@jazayerli Pretty crazy that there wasn't another AL team that faced a position player on the mound.

🤷‍♂️ Alec Zumwalt is not Cal Eldred. The Royals were third in the AL in runs scored after the All-Star Break. But they were still 13th in runs for the whole season, and the only reason they didn't finish last was because they scored 10 runs off a position player 11 days ago.

JJ Picollo: “Most of our staff is coming back. We will make some decisions on the hitting side. Alex Zumwalt is coming back as hitting coach.”

Chiefs NFL rank in points scored: <Eric Bieniemy replaces Matt Nagy as OC> 2018: 1st 2019: 5th 2020: 6th 2021: 4th 2022: 1st <Matt Nagy replaces Eric Bieniemy as OC> 2023: 15th 2024: 15th
Rany Jazayerli@jazayerli

Maybe I have become too focused on the impact that coaches have on a team's play, but it's hard to ignore the fact that the Chiefs offense went from "historic" to "excruciating to watch even when it's effective" the moment Matt Nagy became the Offensive Coordinator.

@AintNoSeatsPod Does that mean this year's squad is on their way to a title as well? This game feels like years ago.
