Happy to share the news of the first captive-bred GIB chick of 2025! The egg was laid on February 12 by 4-year-old female (Rewa) after mating with a breeding male (Leo) on February 7 at the Sam center in Rajasthan's Jaisalmer. It was artificially hatched by the Project GIB team. India, as I often mention, is not just conversing but also restoring its ecosystem. Congratulations to all those who worked tirelessly to make it possible.
