Chagrin Falls Park Community Center is committed to empowering individuals and families to reach their full potential and unify the local neighborhood and greater community.

Last month was everything pizza, and this month is everything breakfast! Thanks to all the churches and individuals who donated food items as well as the Geauga Hunger Task Force! So many families benefit from your generosity!

Thanks to so many hard working and generous volunteers, donors and staff, over 70 families received holiday foods and gift cards, and over 160 kids will have brand new pajamas, hats, gloves and socks plus snacks on Christmas morning! So excited and grateful ❤️

And the holiday season is in full swing at the Community Center! Thanks to the Chagrin Falls Education Foundation Student Board 2023 for a great Holiday Party!

Over 80 families received a turkey, an apple pie and all the other ingredients to make their Thanksgiving Day merrier! Thank you to all the wonderful churches whose members donated so generously! We have much to be thankful for! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Once again, we are grateful to the Bainbridge Maintenance Department, the Bainbridge Township Trustees, volunteers and staff for helping spruce up the neighborhood!

If you have power and space in your freezer, please meet me at the Center at 10 am tomorrow (Saturday) and take some home temporarily until we are back up and running. We would be so very grateful!!!!!

Please come to our rescue! Power is out at the Center (and the Park as a whole) with no sign of being restored any time soon! Our freezers have quite a bit of meat, and we are so worried it will all thaw and go to waste. We need it for our pantry orders!

Thanks to our friends at Great Lakes Cheese for hosting our camp counselors as they learned about local business and cheese making and packaging!

Thanks to Anne Watson and her family for organizing the 2nd annual Juneteenth “We’re Bridging the Gap” celebration! All money raised will be donated as Kenston scholarships for rising Chagrin Falls Park seniors who plan to continue their education! Thank you to all the sponsors!

Miss Margaret has gone to be with the angels. We are deeply saddened and will miss her terribly. Her commitment to the Center and to the Share-it-Shop is beyond measure. Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts.

Thanks to the generous folks at South Franklin Circle, St. Joan of Arc and the Federated Church, families received a large bag of cleaning supplies! As always, we are so grateful for those kind donors!

Under the devoted leadership of Mr. Aaron and Miss Sunny, another successful Young Scholars after school program has wrapped up. Thanks also to Miss Missy and Mr. Matt and all the wonderful tutors who care so deeply for our students.

Breakfast for dinner was the main event for March! Soooo many grateful residents picked up a yellow bag from TJ packed by Miss Mattie! Thanks to all who contributed!
