@danteshepherd Wow - that was quick! The stairwells were like they were when I was a graduate student.... even the fact that there were still people in their offices and in the lab on a friday night at 7:30 PM!

The Nobel Prize
The Nobel Prize@NobelPrize·
“Ten years ago I was kicked out and forced to retire.” Our new medicine laureate Katalin Karikó (@kkariko) told us how much it means to be awarded the Nobel Prize after a scientific career that has been full of challenges. Ten years ago, Karikó was still doing all her experiments by hand but today she has been awarded the medicine prize for her research on mRNA, which led to the development of COVID-19 vaccines. @nd_cbegso @NU_ChemE @NU_Chemistry @NDCBE Many thanks to the Graduate Student Organization and to the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Dept for a wonderful visit! I really enjoyed my visit to Notre Dame - it really felt like a "retreat" in so many ways! What a special place and community!

@CLeeParsons @NU_ChemE I love this! She did an amazing job. When I taught thermo, I had the students do this as a contest, the "winner" entry was shared with the class. So many creative entries!

Rachel Tam, ChE 2024 @NU_ChemE, created this 1-pg summary for our Biochemical Engineering midterm. I was admiring the artistry, beauty, & compactness of her study sheet. She gave me a copy of this & the one for the final as a parting gift after the final exam! 😄
