Early March was intense as I travelled to Berlin and met 19 other women from 13 countries: #feminist voices influencing #transport. We had open conversations: pride in our work, the challenges, road blocks we faced and gender (in)equality in Germany. I've had a few thoughts:

"Parking on sidewalks communicate the implicit wrong message that motor vehicle owners are more important than the rest of the population. To ensure they do not park illegally on sidewalks, motor vehicle registration should require proof of long-term access to a parking space."

Shashi Verma from Transport for London If you can’t even enforce parking regulations, then forget about trying to enforce a congestion charge. (In India, including Delhi) parking is provided at an incredibly cheap price, if not free... @htTweets
