“We recognize unemployment is high, but there’s a mismatch between the skills young people have and the jobs the government promotes, like housekeepers or watchmen.” – Nerima Wako. Our educated youth deserve better opportunities.

“The National Employment Authority lists jobs like housekeepers and drivers, but young people are questioning the quality of these jobs and the sacrifices they have to make.” – Nerima Wako. We need to aim higher for our workforce.

“Even though we send resources from the diaspora back home, we aren’t seeing those resources having an impact on the economy.” – Nerima Wako. Diaspora contributions need to benefit the country more visibly.

“Kenyan workers in Lebanon are facing abuse, yet the government claims they refuse evacuation. The reality of their situation must be questioned.” – Nerima Wako. We need real solutions for our migrant workers.

“Meta has ignored court orders to compensate workers who are underpaid, overworked, and exposed to harmful content without psychosocial support.” – Nerima Wako. This exploitation cannot be ignored.
