US Oil & Gas Association
Good evening from the Coconut Tree @KamalaHarris Ma’am, (can we call you Ma'am?) we’ll keep this factual and review your actual record, not your reboot. As a U.S. Senator (2017-2021), you were an original cosponsor of the Green New Deal resolution (S.Res. 59). It directed the US to “divest from fossil fuels,” phase out oil, gas, and coal production and remake the entire economy around subsidized green mandates. Your 2020 campaign was shorter than a Garden Gnome but managed to work in these gems: You told the CNN town hall: “There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking.” On Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show: “We will end fracking once and for all” while committing to the Green New Deal. Your $10 trillion climate plan called for no new fossil fuel leases on federal lands, phasing out all oil & gas (even if renewables weren’t ready), a carbon fee, and doubling U.S. payments to the UN Green Climate Fund. Before that, as California Attorney General (2011-2017), you built a reputation suing our industry. The lawfare you pursued laid the foundation for the collapse of the California refining industry we are witnessing right now You even sued the Obama-Biden administration to block new offshore permits off California’s coast. Remember 2022? As VP, national gas prices hit $5+/gallon (over $6 in parts of CA). You told Americans those record prices were “a price to pay for democracy” for Ukraine. But apparently the freedom of millions of Irainian citizens are not worth $3.97 a gallon now? That seems - I don't know - selective? Bottom line. California still pays the nation’s highest gas prices — thanks to the taxes, mandates, and anti-production policies you championed for years. Flying cross country (made possible by jet fuel) to North Carolina to make a video isn't going to change that. And those are the facts - unburdened by what has been.
Kamala Harris@KamalaHarris

Here in North Carolina and around the country, gas prices are too high. This is a direct result of Donald Trump's war of choice in Iran, and the American people are paying the price.

Let me get this straight Yesterday Anthropic announced a new AI model that autonomously found a 27-year-old vulnerability in OpenBSD In under a day For under $20,000 It also found a 16-year-old bug in video software that had survived 5 million automated tests and every human reviewer who ever looked at the code It chained together 4 vulnerabilities to escape a web browser sandbox It solved a corporate network attack simulation that would have taken a human expert over 10 hours By itself With no human involvement after the initial prompt Meanwhile I have to fill out a form on a government website that doesn't fit my browser window The submit button is cut off The error message says "please try again later" It's been saying that since Tuesday The federal government spends over $100 billion a year on IT 80% of that goes to maintaining legacy systems That's $80 billion a year To keep systems running that were built when Nixon was president The IRS still uses a system written in COBOL from the 1960s It won't be fully replaced until 2030 At which point it will be 60 years old The Treasury's taxpayer system is 51 years old HHS runs a patient system that is 50 years old The Department of Education runs student information on a 46-year-old platform These aren't obscure backroom tools These process the money, the healthcare, and the education of 330 million people On code written before the internet existed Let me run the math $80 billion a year For 10 years That's $800 billion Spent maintaining technology from an era when the most advanced computer in America had less processing power than a modern thermostat For the same price Anthropic's new AI model could run 40 million individual security assessments Each one capable of finding decades-old vulnerabilities in a day 40 million And the government can't build a webpage that fits on a laptop screen In private equity we have a term for this It's called "capex misallocation" When you spend enormous sums maintaining obsolete infrastructure instead of replacing it It shows up on the balance sheet as an asset But it functions as a liability It drags down productivity It creates security risk It compounds every year And eventually it becomes so expensive to replace that you just keep paying to maintain it Forever Which is exactly where the federal government is A $100 billion annual IT budget 80% allocated to keeping the lights on 20% for everything new No private company would survive running its infrastructure this way But the government doesn't have to survive It just has to keep collecting taxes And those taxes are processed on a 60-year-old COBOL system That still can't handle a form that fits in my browser window Make common sense common again Plz fix. Thx. Sent from my iPhone

Yes, Senator Thune, it's obvious Democrats see your weakness and will keep applying pressure until you're the one left clearing the path to dismantle ICE. It's time to stop coasting on easy interviews and industry accolades and start making difficult, consequential decisions. Senator Thune, if you don't find a way to overcome this and finance DHS while passing the SAVE America Act, you will go down as the one who single-handedly destroyed the Republican party in 2026. Not Candace Owens. Not President Trump. Not anyone else. YOU.

Sometimes, I wonder why I do this work. I wonder why I work so hard to elect Republican majorities into office & — when we are in power — our very elected officials don’t wield or harness that power. I wonder why I lose sleep, miss family vacations, & put my personal life on hold, so wealthy Senators can go on paid vacations after not achieving the very promises they campaigned on. Sometimes, I wonder if they truly care about us & if they actually want to represent the will of the very people that elected them into positions of authority. I will tell you this: if the Senate ultimately does not pass the SAVE America Act, I will use all of the energy, hustle, & organizing efforts we used to elect these Senators into office as tools to peacefully & respectfully defeat them in their upcoming elections.

This past August, we were flying cross‑country with our 8‑month‑old son after his sixth round of chemo. His stomach hurt, his little body was exhausted, and he kept letting out that soft, broken whine babies make when they’re uncomfortable but trying so hard to settle. Not screaming. Not throwing a fit. Just hurting in the only way he knew how. In front of us was a family taking their daughter to SMU’s freshman welcome week. Their biggest stress was how she was going to fit all her clothes in her dorm room — and she was the one who kept turning around. Every few minutes, this privileged freshman would glare at my wife like our son was ruining her trip and her wardrobe planning. It lasted maybe 30 minutes before he fell asleep. But the way those looks made my wife feel… man. I’ll be honest — I was praying she got a nightmare roommate who “borrowed” every outfit she brought. That flight reminded me of something important: you never know what that baby is going through, you never know what those parents are carrying, and you never know what that tiny cry is coming from. So yeah, maybe a baby whining on a plane is annoying. But sometimes that sound is coming from a kid fighting battles you can’t see — and parents doing everything they can just to make it through the day. A little grace goes a long way.
Laura Loomer@LauraLoomer

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory. But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025? That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice. She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her. You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly. And beyond that—you have never even responded to me. I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position. You never replied. And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day. Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen. This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability. When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message. Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way. So I am asking you directly: Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend? Say her name: Katie Abraham. Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.
Governor JB Pritzker@GovPritzker

Standing with Minnesotans tonight and paying my respects to Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

Dear Chuck Schumer, Hi. Black dude here. I can trace my family ancestry to slavery. I even know where they were slaves. My mom experienced Jim Crow. I think I’ve watched every episode of “Eyes On the Prize” when I was younger. With that said… Can you directly explain to me how the SAVE Act is “Jim Crow 2.0?” Literally every black person I know has ID. Literally every black person I know has a car or at least a ride. Literally every black person I know knows how to vote (well… except the ones with felonies… but they don’t count). With your advanced white liberal thinking, you must know more than me. Apparently, as I experience daily on this app, white liberals are experts on being black; even more so than actual black folks. Perhaps you could explain it like I’m five. I’d look it up on the internet, but Kathy Hochul has already told me I don’t know what a computer is and Joe Biden said I can’t navigate it, anyway. Looking forward to your answer. No hugs. Zeek
