You saw his other post explaining what should be done to get justice for Ochanya, but none of you dragging Winifred have shown that level of reasoning. If you keep dragging her from now till December without taking real action, the late girl still won’t get justice. And It will only show that you all are just clout chasers pretending to care.

What happened to Ochanya is sad and unfortunate. She was a child and she deserves justice. Since trending the case has not worked. It is high time we took action. I would ask us to raise money and reopen the case, but we cannot do that without the consent of the family. We will raise the money and provide them a lawyer. But I need someone to put us in contact with the family. If you can do that, it would be much appreciated. As for Winifred, please do what you want to do. Na una sabi. I do not subscribe to punishing another person for the crime committed by another. It is a criminal matter. Twitter is also the only place you expect someone to throw their family under the bus for public validation. I expect her to put out a statement, but that is her prerogative. Popular opinion is not always right. But it is safe and it is convenient. That is why it is important you tweet with conviction. Actions have consequences - including your tweets. You could get dragged or lose relationship you made here and that is okay. As long as you tweet with personal conviction without malice and with intention to be fair and just. Emotion must never override fairness and logic. The more sensitive a matter, the bigger responsibility on you to be logical. You’ll be fine, regardless. Ochanya must get justice and anyone welcoming Winifred back is wrong but don't attempt to whitewash Simi here. I have spoken to @InibeheEffiong who is the Lawyer for Ochanya, and he introduced me to new information I had no idea about. I also perused the court judgement. In light of that, I would take down this tweet. I apologize, I was discourteous. The case is a little complicated now, but works are going on in the background. I'm invested in this myself. I hope the deceased finds justice, which is what she deserves. Blessings 🙏🏾
