I will be rereading Homestuck and analyzing pretty much every single page. It'll be a lot of yapping about things that stand out and connections I make. So check this out if you're interested

All in all, the hardest part has really been coming up with designs. I'm not really a designer, just a writer lol. But it's a great joy to work on this and I love my swap take (9/9)

I already have many ideas ready for this. Ch1 is about a totalitarian regime. Ch2 is set in an office rather than the joys of the internet. Ch3 is about TV psychology and other shows meant to humiliate people for entertainment. And Ch4 is about blind submission to religion (8/9)

That was the idea behind the Rouxls-Jevil swap. As the Knight of Swords, he had a very definite role within the court serving the King of Swords. But instead he broke away to pursue his dream of being a matador/rejoneador (7/9)

As an example: the secret bosses of DR want to escape their fantasy and enter the real world. Thus the secret bosses of my swap would be characters who have dreams and want to break from the status quo. People who cannot fall in line (6/9)

Deltarune's motifs are escapism, control, and freedom. Going through the dark worlds helps the heroes grow. My swap would be about submission and the death of innocence, systematically breaking down the heroes to turn them into cookie cutter adults (5/9)

My swap isn't an antithesis to Deltarune, but a complement. Deltarune is fundamentally about how giving in entirely to escapism is bad. My swap is about the complement: putting cold, hard reality above all else is also bad (4/9)

My Deltaswap take isn't simply a swap of personalities, it's a thematic swap. Hence why some characters are in cycles like this. This is a swap of a characters thematic role in the story, not just their personality (3/9)

The thing which inspired me to make this AU was the concept of swapping the French suited cards (clovers, spades, hearts, diamonds) with the Spanish suited ones (coins, cups, clubs, swords) (2/9)
