I’m a lady over 60 and love to sing but not much singing and lots of chatting at many games (mind I bleep the f**k bits so as not to shock my 87yo dad or my sons!

@CharIieBennett Two factors has a big influence imo:
1) Time of kick-off (night time is often electric)
2) quality of opposition
When there’s an atmosphere, it’s electric and can be very intimidating (as shown by PSG game)
Can be flat though when comfortable against lesser opposition
