@CalebYac He has to be a pro bowler and immediately start and make a difference. Can’t be any Chris Naeoli type stuff. That would be disastrous when Mansoor would more than likely be there at a premium position.

Wanted to try one Ioane at #8 mock draft
- Officially fix the offensive line, and can now trade Ruiz
- Get a WR2 to put with Olave and Vele
- Invest heavily in the defensive line
- Two EDGEs, Bresee replacement, and a NT
- Add a potential slot option and TE depth

Was just doing some 2027 CB research. If the Saints want to just wait until then to get a CB1, I'm totally fine with it.
Also, I will keep tabs on Zabien Brown (even if it's hate-watching because he's at Alabama).

@CalebYac Rutledge is one of the targets I'm hoping is there at 73 and if he is, I would be very glad if we drafted him.

@EddieHo95096826 I agree with you, he is the best on the current roster, but I still do not think the Saints will pick up his 5th-year option. The DT room needs upgrades anyway, so even if a DT pick is not for replacing Bresee, it still adds insurance in case.

Personally, I wouldn't hate the idea of Ioane at 8, but I'd rather have other options available. Fixing the offensive line for Shough is a must, and it really depends on whether the Saints trust Ruiz enough.

Feels like the #saints just aren’t interested in the Edge FA market, this was a cheap deal ( not 100% sure on the fit with Staley here granted) think it’s going to be a MUST heading into the draft unless they swing a trade
