The current chaos at airports is just another argument for privatizing airport security. TSA agents are horrible at their jobs. The DHS admitted back in 2017 that, when tested, TSA misses up to EIGHTY PERCENT of weapons and contraband smuggled through screening. And now we have to wait in line for three hours because funding for an incompetent agency with an 80 percent failure rate is being held hostage. The whole thing is insane. Get the government out of airport security. They suck at it. And it's just another bargaining chip these sociopaths can use for their own political agendas.

Just to underscore this morning: There are ZERO signs that lawmakers will find a way out of this DHS standoff before spring break.. Quite the contrary. As I report this a.m., Dems feel emboldened, that they're at the cusp of victory & a GOP cave. As Punchbowl reports this morning, Trump is rejecting Thune's proposal for a fund-all-but-ICE workaround. Trump, meanwhile, is also now insisting that he won’t sign a DHS bill unless it includes SAVE America act. Buckle up.

Perhaps it’s time to remind you that the very reason you celebrate Easter on the 5th of April is because of the Catholic Church, the same church you spend all day criticizing.
If you think the Catholic Church is “too boring,” then you are free to leave.
The Church is not here to entertain you or to tell you only what you want to hear.
If it’s excitement and feel-good messages you’re after, there are plenty of Protestant churches that will gladly provide that.
But understand this clearly: if you reject the Eucharist,if you reject the Blessed Sacrament,you are rejecting Jesus Christ Himself.
And that is the truth.

There's no "clean bill to fund TSA."
The "clean bill" is the Republican bill to fund DHS.
The Democrats' political cover "lets just fund TSA" efforts will still withhold paychecks for coast guard, cybersecurity, FEMA, and the rest of DHS.
Ironically, everything but ICE.

When Democrats take power again, in 2027, one of the things on their agenda should be to exempt TSA from losing funding during government shutdowns. We can’t allow Republicans to hold our country hostage whenever they want to take away our rights.
