I love when Dionysus and Herakles disappear from the greek myths because "greeks didn't wear animal pelts" part. You know, for someone who questioned Zendaya's casting and only hers in Nolan's Odyssey, you sure conveniently didn't mind Robert Pattison as Antinous wearing fur.

@KiriseiVocality @SayoriTheClutz The scars on my design, for example, have nothing to do with him being a warrior. He has them for a specific backstory hc I made up for him as I've continued building on his character in my idea. Furs just didn't make sense to me, but the follow-up they've made cleared things up.

@Call_Me_Sinner_ @SayoriTheClutz if the first thing you do when you get angry is call someone a racist who is incorrect, that’s weird. their point in the tweet was still right, whitewashing does happen and depicting Antinous as a violent person with scars and warrior traits does happen.

@KiriseiVocality @SayoriTheClutz It's not what I was "angry" about, and I agree with the whitewashing part definitely. Not all is wrong in their post and I was just pointing out how some things were incorrect. Antinous is depicted as violent in etm, so it's where I assume most of these hcs come from.
