People spend 7 days in Thailand, eat at tourist spots, take a few BTS rides, and suddenly become experts on why India is unlivable. "Look at Bangkok's roads." "Look at their cabs." "Look at their footpaths." Then they conveniently ignore Bangkok's traffic, air pollution, low wages, limited career opportunities for foreigners, and the fact that most of them are comparing a vacation to everyday life. A country always looks perfect when you're spending in rupees, earning elsewhere, and leaving before the problems become yours. Thailand is a great place. So is Vietnam. But a holiday is not reality. Stop confusing tourism with living.
