Surgical instruments had to be procured from the mainland and life flighted to Majuro for this surgery.

Our 82 year old patient who fell out of a coconut tree 3 months ago and broke his hip! He’s been in the hospital for 3 months waiting for the Canvasback team. Thumbs up for the healing hands of Derek Johnson!

In just our first week of the mission, we have seen 181 patients and scheduled a whopping 87 surgeries!! We still have a few days left in Pohnpei. We'll have more stats soon
