@JadePsycho @JCC31925 @AgreeingBook13 Dragon quest is a series I've been meaning to get into. I'll have to look into that. Palworld is great but I'd like to see what other developers do with the monster capture genre.

@JadePsycho @JCC31925 @AgreeingBook13 Same, sure it was an improvement to sword and shield but story and endgame were pretty trash. Area zero was the most interesting part but was very short lived. (And that music in area zero)

@JCC31925 @AgreeingBook13 For me it was the boring story and lack of any real endgame (sure, the battle tower was something but it wasn't a battle frontier). Feels like gamefreak/Nintendo wanted players to incentivize players to play online as the endgame. Plus all that you've listed too.

@CaptainMienshao @AgreeingBook13 I feel that. Dexgate, lacking graphics, Scarlet and Violet’s baaaad slowdown on release, and, imho, really lacking character designs (the Legends ZA champion is an eyesore). The last Pokemon game I can say I enjoyed nearly everything about was Legends Arceus

@sum_ott @Yifftator Kind of figured it was something like that. I like videogames and anime and when I try to go into game shops or conventions it's usually full of liberal types that openly make fun of conservative. It's a weird place to be.

@MeowyWood Sheesh, I remember working in my local job as a cashier and most of the Mexican customers would give me attitude for not speaking Spanish since I'm Hispanic. They'd say "your Mexican aren't you?" Makes me roll my eyes every time. I know how you feel.

I live with Mexicans who are always criticizing me each day for not teaching my kids to be like them. Forcing me to teach Mexican culture that makes men alcoholics and women whores. Then I get criticized for not speaking fluent Spanish. I don't need to if I'm in the U.S.

@MeowyWood As a Hispanic American, I second this. Mexicans can be pretty mean and discriminate against each other, especially if they're from different parts of Mexico. That said, they're not rude, just kind of distant if you're not from their "rancho"
