In a past life I would be sad about FF9 remake being cancelled. I used to love square. They have lost their ability to make a good AAA rpg nowadays. FF9 doesn’t need to be butchered with the new chefs they have in the kitchen.

I love mortal kombat. Never palt3d a single game as im crap at fighting games. But I love th characters, have figures, watched the movies, watch people play.

And now the argument has somehow devolved into calling people elitist and privileged for saying:
“Hey, maybe play the games before claiming you’re a fan.”
Like… what?
People are reacting like you just asked them to drop $3000 on a PC.
Most of us were broke at some point and still found ways to play: pirating, emulating, whatever.
Let’s not act like engaging with the thing you’re a fan of is some impossible luxury.
