Reminder - the library will be closed for essential repair works after Easter. Work in the main entrance starts on Wednesday 19 April for three weeks. Carnegie library hub classes will continue with entrance via side door on Ferndene Road.

As you can see the Carnegie Library building is undergoing extensive restoration, gratefully co-ordinated by Lambeth Council; vital repairs are being made to the roof and windows, the beautiful parquet floors are being sanded and varnished throughout carnegielibraryhub.org.uk/restoration-wo…

At the Library and Hub, we love the Hallway and want to refresh it to try and make the Library and Hub more welcoming and enhance the heritage beauty of this building. One idea was to leverage the redecoration work, necessary as a consequence of the carnegiecommunityhub.org.uk/hallway-colour…
