I'm not encouraging piracy of comic books, but the piracy sites are a measure or proxy measurement for popularity and interest. Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe was first published a month ago (July 2025). On one comic pirate site alone it has already generated 31,728 views. Cyberfrog: Blood Honey (2019) has generated 7,659 views, and Cyberfrog: Rekt Planet (2023) has generated 8,209 views - both on the same site. It's not clear that the mass of comic book readers even know that Comicsgate exists. A brand new, novelty comic, has generated twice as many views as Cyberfrog 1 & 2 combined, in only a month. Adding emphasis for the cognitively impaired, I am explicitly NOT encouraging piracy of comic books.

@MindyWheelerArt My thumbnail! In heindsight, I can see how I contributed to the youtube drama cycle early on in my channel's history. I don't at all remember what was in that video, but I appologize that it caused you unneeded grief. At the time, I felt like just an observer. That changed fast.
