Bean counter @Owen_Seed_Smart blends right in with this lush canopy of soybeans in Waterloo county. What a difference the moisture in this area is going to make this year from last year on yields #GLGtour2023

This morning I found a more advanced field in Norfolk. This corn was planted in April. Stand population was good, cob length and kernals around were very consistent. Frequent rains in Norfolk this summer have definitely helped the corn crop this year. #GLGtour2023

An early start to the #glgtour2023 today to try and beat some of the afternoon heat. Heat and sunshine is what we need right now to move this crop along. Yesterday's findings were a very consistent corn crop in Brant, Oxford and Norfolk but the crop is behind in maturity.
