Recently, Israeli forces subjected a one-year-old child to abuse to pressure his father into giving confessions east of Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza, according to local and family sources. The child's father, Osama Abu Nassar, suffered psychological trauma after the death of a horse he used for income. While taking his child to buy supplies a few days ago, he was caught in gunfire near his home and forced by soldiers to leave his 18-month-old son on the ground and approach the Israeli checkpoint, where he was stripped of his clothes. According to witnesses, the army then took the child and interrogated the father at the checkpoint. The forces tortured the child in front of his father, including burning with cigarettes on his leg, pricking, and inserting a metal nail into his leg, as confirmed by a medical report. The child, Karim, was released after 10 hours and handed over to his family through the International Red Cross, while the father remains in detention. 📷 Osama Al-Kahlout

The funniest thing happening in the world right now is the way the western political/media class is asking us to be shocked and outraged that Iran would attack US allies who are actively collaborating toward its destruction in an unprovoked war of aggression. It's hilarious. Think about how dehumanized the Muslim world would have to be in your perception in order for that kind of thinking to make sense. You'd have to see them as so unlike yourself that it would astonish and baffle you for them to be retaliating against unprovoked aggressions like any normal human being. Your view would essentially have to be, "Why are those Iranians hitting us back? Don't they know their role is to be killed, and our role is to do the killing? They've got the natural order of things completely backward!" Iran is fighting for its very existence as a state. Obviously it's going to respond aggressively toward everyone who's helping to destroy it. It's a symptom of a profoundly sick and twisted civilization that this would seem abnormal or surprising to anyone.

It’s amazing how new information only hardens people’s already made conclusions. Iran, after all lot of provocations, has demonstrated capabilities the international community didn’t know they had. Rather than taking this as proof that if you provoke a sovereign state long enough, they will keep escalating their retaliation, it is being taken as evidence of Iran rather being a bad faith actor, and that somehow justifies the initial attacks in the first place. How does this even make sense?

@PvrseLogic @KMutisi Iran has the nuclear option of destroying all the oil and gas facilities in the region. It always had this option. It never needed nukes. The strait can be as open as it ever was, it wont matter if there's no oil or gas to ship through it.

We're supposed to be having an epic, collective meltdown because Iran possesses ballistic missiles with sufficient range to hit Europe. That Iran has possessed this capability without using it is apparently irrelevant. We are also supposed to collectively ignore that the US and Israel have during the past two years not only had the capability to saturate the Middle East with missiles but have actually done so. Their missiles have repeatedly been deployed against multiple states in the Middle East, including close US allies; continue to be used to perpetrate a genocide in the Gaza Strip; and are also being used to degrade and destroy civilian infrastructure, and thousands of lives, in Iran, Lebanon, and elsewhere on a daily basis. Please also ignore that Israeli and US politicians regularly and casually advocate the use of nuclear weapons in the Middle East Thank you for your attention to this matter!
