@acaseofthegolf1 He moved to Charleston and shot a course record 63 at the famed Charleston Muni in the first round of the Charleston City Am in 2022. Nobody at the course knew who he was before that. I believe only 5 people finished under par that weekend to show how hard it was playing

Connor Doyal didn't play college golf, in fact after a good night school career he was burned out and rarely played at all in college until covid. Since then his game has gotten better and he is well known in th mid-am circuit, getting to Quarters of the mid-am in 2025. And what does he do with his engineering degree from Auburn? He caddies full-time at Kiawah Island. Connor Doyal is tied for the lead at the Myrtle Beach Monday Q.
