They'd already started the process without me. Ins: Okay and why did you pick Y hospital initially? Me: Well I was actively bleeding out from a ruptured placenta and it was the closest one, I was trying not to die. Are you not aware this was an emergency c section at 34 weeks? And also Y hospital is in network. Ins: Yes but if you had gone to in network hospital Z you could have transferred to an in network NICU. Me: *Googles* That's 2.5hrs away. I was bleeding out.
