@alex_q111 I think it is a super narrow line to walk. I have no idea if I land on the right side of it, but since I write them quite a bit older I think it gives some breathing room for their dynamic to shift a bit. It is hard for me to picture a 20-something pathetic top Ilya.

as much as i love pathetic top ilya in fics, it often (not always) makes me feel like i’m reading about the most random character who is nothing like actual ilya :(
