Welp…….The Brewers now have a pet turtle.
A pocket turtle. 🐢
Backstory:
I caused Pat Murphy chaos with pocket pancakes…
So this time during our interview, Murph handed me a……live turtle and said, “Good luck getting it through TSA.”
The turtle, will be staying with the team for now, as American Airlines apparently draws the line at reptiles.

Just got a time slot to purchase LA28 Olympics tickets (as a local). I need to figure out ASAP which 12 tickets to purchase for my family. Any other Stanford fans doing this too? Have you analyzed which sports are most likely to have Stanford athletes? Women's Water Polo? Others?

A thought on last night's incredible @SanJoseSharks victory. As much as #drewremenda and I would have loved to have called that game, I can't think of a better night for the Sharks to make their season debut on @NHL_On_TNT. What a performance by #teamteal for an international TV audience!

@ChrisKirschner The original design had it rotated 90 degrees to the left so it would face the Bay Bridge with part of downtown visible. Wind studies showed that would be worse than Candlestick, so they changed it to that orientation. Worked out OK 😉

Bryce Eldridge took fly balls in left field today. Tony Vitello wants him to get work out there just in case, which makes sense given the likely makeup of the roster with both Eldridge and Rafael Devers at 1B/DH. Eldridge played some OF in minors after getting drafted.

@shadcn I used the 2x and 3x buttons all the time and now they’re hidden. Everything being hidden is just so awful. I’m willing (begrudgingly) to go learn where things are hidden but the average user is just presented with a super shitty experience.

So during the holidays, a friend and I were talking iPhone Air and she said she did not get the new iPhone because Apple removed Portrait Mode. I said no. Hold on. I opened the camera app and said "Oh I see what you mean" 🤦♂️

Interrupting my holiday break to say: iOS 26 is bad. Worse. It's not just liquid glass. Everything is now one or more extra taps away. Actions buried. Keyboard downgraded. Siri is essentially dead. Apple undid years of good work.

The backspace button sometimes doesn’t gobble up whole words when you hold it down, switching from fast delete to ONE LETTER AT A TIME VERY SLOWLY.
I am a forever Apple fangirl, but my god, for a supposedly stable update, this is the crappiest one I’ve ever seen.

The keyboard click noise comes and goes randomly, and sometimes typing autocorrects and sometimes it doesn’t, to the point where the first letter after a period sometimes just decides not to automatically cap itself.

My phone got auto updated to iOS 26 last night, and while I was prepared for it to be super annoying because of how much complaining there’s been over the past year about the radical and nonintuitive UI changes, I wasn’t prepared for it to be as glitchy and buggy as it is.
