The opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympics is widely regarded as one of the most breathtaking showcases of culture and artistry ever seen in Olympic history.

It’s funny seeing pensioners raging about the “politics of envy” when they’re getting upset that money they haven’t earned might go to, say, children instead of them.





What makes a pensioner more deserving of protection from market forces than, say, a young family?
