Mayor Tedford swore in Kevin Montgomery as a new Police Officer today. Congrats to Kevin as you embark on your new journey with the Fallon Police Department.

The Elks Lodge #2239 held a ceremony for National Flag Day, in the City Courtyard, celebrating the history and symbolism of the American Flag. Boy Scouts Troup 1776 presented the different flags throughout history.

Congratulations to the Oasis Academy Softball team for their undefeated season and Northern 1A East championship. Mayor Tedford, Councilman Richardson, Councilwoman Frost, and Councilwoman Kent celebrated in the City Courtyard after the team and coaches dyed the City fountain.

Congratulations to the Churchill County High School Boys' Baseball team for their recent Northern 3A East championship. Mayor Tedford, Councilman Richardson, Councilwoman Frost, and Councilwoman Kent recognized the team with a celebration in the City Hall Courtyard.

Congratulations to the Churchill County FFA Chapter for placing 1st in the State of Nevada National Chapter. Mayor Tedford, Councilman Richardson, Councilwoman Frost, and Councilwoman Kent recognized the FFA Chapter and Advisor with a celebration in the City Hall Courtyard.
