Our Pet of the Week is Beau, a one-year-old male Redbone Hound mix. Beau may be a bit too large to fit in an Easter basket, but he’ll fit right in with any family. This sweet pup can’t resist showing affection. He is great at playing fetch and already knows how to “sit” and “shake.” This floppy-eared, happy, hopping hound would be a great addition to any family. If you would like to make Beau, or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets. The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley. Note: Our featured pets tend to get adopted very quickly when they are shared in our newsletter and on social media. If they have already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter who are also looking for their forever homes. #petrescue #petadoption #dogrescue #moval #ilovemoval #morenovalley #dogs

Dear Moreno Valley Residents, In Moreno Valley, we’re always looking for ways to make City Hall more open, accessible, and responsive to our community. That’s why we’ve rolled out a new suite of digital tools designed to put information, services, and support right at your fingertips whenever you need them. One highly resident-focused upgrade is MoVal 24/7, our new app and online portal that makes it easier than ever to report issues such as potholes, graffiti, or broken streetlights. You can submit a request anytime and track it in real time, knowing it’s being routed directly to the right team. It’s a faster, smarter way for us to respond and deliver the level of service our community deserves. We’ve also made it simpler to access public records and stay informed. Our upgraded public records portal gives you a more user-friendly way to find City documents, from Council meeting minutes to resolutions. And with new tools like real-time translation at meetings and our virtual assistant, “Mo & Val,” available in more than 70 languages, we’re breaking down barriers and making it easier for everyone to participate. Transparency also means being clear about how your tax dollars are spent. Through our online financial transparency platform, you can explore City spending and see exactly where resources are going. It’s all part of our commitment to accountability and trust. At the end of the day, these tools are about making government work better for you by simplifying processes, increasing transparency, and giving you more ways to connect with your City. That’s what it means to have City Hall at your fingertips, and we’re just getting started! Lea el mensaje en español aquí: conta.cc/4v0LYkw #mayorsmessage #morenovalley #ilovemoval #moval
