It raised concerns of legitimacy of a parliamentary post being held by a person having dual citizenship. Why does it even matter? Can a foreigner take Indian citizenship? What are the conditions to acquire Indian citizenship?

I haven't watched the movie Dhurandhar yet! I’m not sure, perhaps I just didn't find the time. However, there is one thing regarding Dhurandhar that I don't quite agree with. Nowadays, anyone returning from watching the film faces just one request from everyone else: "Please, no spoilers!" But my perspective is a little different. I simply don't understand what exactly is there in Dhurandhar that could possibly be "spoiled"? If we are talking about the Bade Saheb, given the historical records of India's adversaries, who else could it possibly be but Dawood Ibrahim? Moreover, most of the events depicted in the film are things we are already well aware of. So why, then, are people so insistent on keeping the storyline a secret? I believe that the true strength of this film lies not in its story, but in its presentation. It is precisely how those familiar events have been portrayed on screen that makes it special. The truth is, even if you were to read the entire plot of the film beforehand, you still wouldn't get the same immersive experience as watching it unfold while sitting in a theatre. In fact, quite often, knowing the story in advance actually heightens one's curiosity, leaving you wondering just how they managed to depict it in such a spectacular manner. That is why I feel that for films like Dhurandhar, spoilers don't really make much of a difference... because the real enjoyment lies not in the story itself, but in its execution.

Sheikh Hasina refused, stating that she could not betray India, the nation that had played a pivotal role in the creation of Bangladesh. Turning down the white man was tantamount to playing with fire. No sooner had Sheikh Hasina rejected the proposal for a Christian state than a coup d'état was orchestrated against her. A short while ago, the NIA arrested a US citizen named Matthew in Myanmar. Matthew is a CIA operative who has previously executed coups on behalf of the agency. While Matthew's arrest may not constitute "breaking news" for the general public, for the NIA, it is an achievement of far greater significance, even surpassing the thrill of winning the World Cup. In other words, Matthew played a pivotal role in the attempted coup against Sheikh Hasina.

In May 2024, the Kerala police filed a chargesheet against Iftikhar Ahmed, an Assistant Professor at the Central University of Kerala, who had described oral sex as the best form of sexual activity to female students under the guise of discussing poetry and literature. The students alleged that Iftikhar Ahmed would discuss sex, sexual pleasure, and sexual ecstasy while ostensibly engaging in discussions on poetry and literature. In the course curriculum he designed for his classes, Ahmed would characterise women as mere sexual objects. During one such class, Ahmed remarked, "Oral sex is the finest medium of communication." Offering another similarly obscene example during a class session, Ahmed asked, "Do you know why the bus conductor is the happiest person on a bus? Because he gets to touch so many people (women)." Ahmed went so far as to make an obscene remark directed specifically at one of the female students in the class. He asked a student, "Would you allow me to lick your entire body, a practice that was prevalent among the 'German elite'?" While staring at female students with broad foreheads, he stated that in medieval England, women with broad foreheads were perceived as individuals brimming with sexual desire.

You may have often noticed that some train coaches are red, while others are blue. This colour difference indicates the specific type of coach. The blue coaches are referred to as ICF (Integral Coach Factory), whereas the red coaches are known as LHB (Linke-Hofmann-Busch). The distinction between these two types of coaches goes beyond their colour; they differ significantly in several respects. The Integral Coach Factory is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, where these blue coaches are manufactured. This factory was established in 1952, following India's independence, and has been manufacturing train coaches ever since. The blue coaches produced by the Integral Coach Factory are constructed from iron. These coaches utilise an air-braking system. It is worth noting that the maximum permissible speed for these coaches is limited to 110 kilometres per hour. In these types of coaches, the Sleeper Class typically accommodates 72 passengers, while the AC-3 Class offers seating/berth capacity for 64 passengers. Coaches manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory require a Periodic Overhauling (POH) once every 18 months. Consequently, the maintenance costs associated with these coaches are relatively high. The ride index for these coaches stands at 3.25. Furthermore, these coaches are coupled together using a dual-buffer system; in the event of an accident, there is a risk that these coaches may climb on top of one another, thereby escalating the severity and scope of the mishap. It is pertinent to note that the Linke-Hofmann-Busch (LHB) coaches were introduced in India from Germany in 2000. The manufacturing facility for these coaches is situated in Kapurthala, Punjab. These coaches are constructed using stainless steel and are equipped with a disc-braking system. Additionally, these coaches feature a Centre Buffer Coupler (CBC) system that prevents them from telescoping or climbing onto one another during an accident. These coaches require an overhaul every 24 months, reducing maintenance costs. Their Rider Index ranges from 2.5 to 2.75. The maximum permissible speed for these coaches is 200 km/h, while their operational speed is 160 km/h. It is worth noting that the Sleeper Class variant of this coach features 80 seats, whereas the AC-3 Class variant has 72 seats.

@CivilLearning1 I have read a book during the 1970s written by an Engineer and the title is "Naa kanda Germany". This engineer was sent to the LHB factory for training. I think HAL (later BEML) was manufacturing coaches with LHB tie-up at that time.

The Bengaluru Police have arrested an individual named Shekhar, who works as a parrot astrologer. Shekhar had swindled gold and silver worth over ₹20 lakh from an Income Tax officer named Shivan Chetty. Following an investigation, the Bengaluru Police have recovered a significant portion of the stolen property. Shivan Chetty stated that he was approached near Sri Circle by a man named Shekhar, who identified himself as a parrot astrologer. Shekhar allegedly convinced the officer that he could predict his future by reading his face and offered to perform certain special rituals on his behalf. Initially, Shekhar took ₹50,000 from Shivan Chetty. Later, he contacted him again, claiming that an elaborate ritual was required to ensure career advancement, a transfer, and overall improvement in every aspect of his life. Shekhar allegedly instilled fear in Shivan Chetty by warning him that failure to perform these rituals would result in dire consequences. Under this pretext, he took gold jewellery weighing 194 grams and silver articles weighing approximately 1.3 kilograms, promising to return them once the rituals were completed.

You will be left astounded upon learning of Manoj Kumar's misdeeds. In a mere 17 years of service, Manoj Kumar has amassed an empire worth crores. Investigations revealed that Manoj's assets are not confined to Bihar alone; he also holds properties in West Bengal and Nepal. When the Economic Offences Unit scrutinised the documents, it emerged that gas agencies and petrol pumps are registered in the names of Manoj's wife and brother. Manoj also owns a tea garden in Darjeeling. During the investigation, his wife informed the inquiring officers that Manoj is a man with a romantic and philandering nature. Manoj has a girlfriend who resides in Nepal. He has even built a house in Nepal specifically for her, and the bungalow is registered in her name. Surprisingly, to construct this bungalow, Manoj used to dispatch masons and labourers from his ancestral village to Nepal.
