Show me a more out of touch group. There's a big difference in value vs affordability. Yes it's a good value, but it's not affordable. I convinced my friend to buy a Model Y and was quoted $400/mo for insurance. Went with an IONIQ that was cheaper and $110/mo for insurance. Oh and add $100/mo for FSD... C'mon.

$500 is not affordable. When you factor in insurance, and electricity bill. Not to mention the tag fo it. Most Americans who are making less than $50k a year can’t afford that. Hell I work at a bank and live paycheck to paycheck and can’t afford any extra stuff. Single, no kids, taxes eat me alive and I don’t make but $35k a year. Bring home is less than $28k
