This week in BGE we’re developing a growth mindset 🧠✨ through problem solving, SSDD challenges, NRICH tasks & Maths Roadshow boards. Pupils will also update their Skills Profile, reflecting on Clydeview Skills used this term 💪📚

“Anything but a school bag” for Comic Relief had our pupils getting creative today! Some interesting items found in the Maths department today 🤣

The Clydeview Collection was up and running for BGE pupils today 👕🎒 Hundreds of items found new homes, which is amazing to see! As always, we’re still taking donations and can’t wait for the next shop! ♻️💜 @clydeview_a

At lunchtime, students also celebrated International Women’s Day at Craft Club with Miss Borthwick, creating a daisy chain of reflections about Katherine Johnson and her colleagues and why her achievements are so inspiring. 🌼🚀 #IWD #WomenInSTEM @clydeview_a @ClydeviewH

Students watched a short video about Katherine Johnson and the maths behind Hidden Figures. 🚀 They finished with a quiz and reflection, discussing what they learned and why she remains an inspiring role model in STEM. 📊✨#IWD #WomenInSTEM @clydeview_a @ClydeviewH

🌍✨ International Women’s Day in the Maths Department ✨📐 Today we are celebrating #IWD by learning about the incredible life and work of Katherine Johnson, the mathematician whose calculations helped send astronauts to space. Stay tuned for updates!🚀@clydeview_a @ClydeviewH
