After three days of AVID summer training has reminded me that I am not alone on my “road trip”. My campus has many amazing supporters of AVID and our district fully believes that AVID is an essential part of our students’ lives. #GoFurtherWithAVID #CFBISD

AVID has a ton of celebration “claps” to spread positive feedback across the campuses. My favorite was the “Truck Driver” where you - Drive your big rig - Honk your horn - Grab your CB (static cackle) - “Great Job, Good Buddy!” #GoFurtherWithAVID

There were a lot of great ideas at today’s AVID training, like a fun new take on Paper-Rock-Scissors. Hold a temporary barrier, like a blanket up between two people and then let them “act” out the object they are using when the blanket drops. #gofurtherwithavid #aviddigitalxp
