Well what can I really say we absolutely dominated the 1st half blew millwall away really and fully deserved our goal from Dael Fry should of had 3 or 4 in 1st half but then 2nd half came and we just folded like a pack of cards and took ages to make subs I'm feeling deflated now.
CITV is coming to an end, for good.
After the channel closed in 2023, there’s been a CITV block on ITV2 every day, but this ends on 10th April. The new home for children’s content will be on ITVX Kids.
@MichaelBoltonA@superTV247 they do but Ofcom don’t enforce in fact they go out of there to help the broadcasters drop there commitments hence why they is no local commercial radio anymore.
@tylerdaisydog1@BoroHistory I think this is exactly the issue Hellberg should really be playing to the players strengths but the players are not suiting this style of play.
@Col8712@BoroHistory All strikers are capable they also can be incapable as well. It depends on how you play, and we don't play that way to have a target man or play it for ward early enough on enough occasions.
I have been told today that Kieron Scott and Hellberg both wanted to sign a striker in January. Said it was essential. Gibson and Bausor refused to sanction the signing of Bamford as he “wanted too much”.
Also they reminded Scott that we signed Strelec at his insistence
@tylerdaisydog1@BoroHistory well for a start you know they are capable of scoring a goal at least one in every 2 games rather than 1 in every 9 games if we lucky that the current so called strikers do. Remember how the club was better and more successful under Robson and McClearen who could buy players.
@BoroHistory And who's to say it would have worked out if we had signed Bamford or Armstrong. Hindsight and all that, enjoy the bloody ride it's always a bumpy one supporting the Boro, I've been doing since a kid in the 70s
@Spofforth@BoroHistory This is the best chance to go up though next season will be a lot harder especially if Tottenham do get relegated I would think them and Wolves will be battling for the top two then add Burnley and half the clubs who are they about this season and it going to be near impossible
@BoroHistory I don’t disagree but have to trust the ownership to look after the health of the club.
We can still go up, I hope we do but if not can only hope we go again.
@Loulameg@Boro_Breakdown I think we have nothing to lose giving Fry a go up front considering he was more of a striker and had more chances than the actual strikers today.
@Boro_Breakdown Fed up, disheartened & gullible that I even thought we could win today given that it’s now crystal clear we have the scoring capabilities of a 3 legged giraffe. Should have had that boxed off at half time.
@Brandonmfccc@Ki3ran_K We will see in the summer if Gibson gives Hellberg a good transfer budget or not to rebuild the team because at there only 4-5 players anywhere near good enough and at least 2 of them will likely be sold in the summer.
@Ki3ran_K but the issue is they don’t and they have to much pressure on them and I think it’s affected them. They can play there heart out but unfortunately they not good enough at the minute they need better players around them I think there confidence has long gone. 2/2
@Ki3ran_K I think Conway can be a good player but he needs a lot of support it’s just not working for him at Boro. If they was a proven goalscorer alongside him in a 442 I think he could be a great player. Like wise with Brynn if he had two good experienced cbs he could do good 1/2
@EdwardsTracey84 The fact the so called strikers can’t score is what has cost automatic promotion. it don’t help when the defenders are giving the ball away far to easily either. Out of tte current team they is only 4 -5 i would keep next season and one of them ( Hackney ) will be sold.
@BBCTeesSport None will be any use in the run in. Out too long to be fit enough.
Recruitment has cost us dearly. So many ineffective players brought in.
Still it's Gibbo's choice. His club.
They said Hellberg's teams are better second season. Fingers crossed he gets a striker or two
BORO INJURY UPDATES 🩹
"Hayden Hackney, Morgan Whittaker and Leo Castledine will probably not be ready for Monday. They will hopefully be ready in one or two weeks." - Kim Hellberg

@BBCTeesSport when defenders are giving the ball away far to easily and strikers don’t know how to score it’s not a surprise they getting beat. We will see if Gibson backs Hellberg in the summer because the full squad needs an overhaul. They is only 4-5 players I would keep.
THE King is head of the Church of England. He issued Ramadan and Eid messages, but apparently isn’t bothering with Easter this year. What the holy f***? Not ok.
The BBC Shop has launched a 'Live & Kicking Collection' which has several retro-inspired items of clothing and accessories available to purchase.

@brodie7DK the BBC couldn’t have sacked him at the time although I do feel it was serious enough that the DG should have been informed. The reason why now is he would have signed a new contract last year with new policies and with further information coming to light then it’s easier 2/2
@brodie7DK To be fair they won’t have known about this at the time, luckily things have got stricter since the 90s. I am guessing it would have been down to the bosses of Radio 1 that he continued to be employed in 2019 despite him being interviewed and legally if he had been cleared 1/2
