@SherlockGates @Propopulus_eu It's used frequently in the US in furniture, tends to be stable and knot free. It also machines, glues, stains, and paints really well. Painted face frame cabinetry and solid wood doors are where I have seen it used most. I have no experience of Irish or European grown material.
