@CardAficionado @baseball_cards @natsturner My 1909 card exists on its own. No servers or nodes needed. I just take care of it and it lasts. Digital stuff depends on tech and people that may not stick around. If my Internet goes down, I still have my physical cards. You have nothing.

@Collecting4Me @baseball_cards @natsturner You are collecting images. They are on cardboard. These images are associated with a blockchain entry. That means you own it just like a card. If it’s set up correctly, it does not rely on a company. It is the same concept.

Things I wouldn’t say if my business assigned imaginary numbers to printed cardboard.

@CardAficionado @baseball_cards @natsturner So is my Google photo portfolio. Neither is at all the same as a physical collectible. If you have fun collecting images (or snippits) on your phone. Have at it. Don't pretend that it's similar to collecting physical items that will still exist long after the company is gone.

I know this is a weird question, but let’s say you see a Bowman autograph you want that’s a CGC 10. What are you valuing it at versus raw?

@CardsPumpkin @BallerMJ @PackFreshPapi I had someone reach out a few years to sell me one, but they literally contacted me the day I was loading up a moving truck for an out-of-state move and I could focus on making any deals at that time without an address to have it mailed to.

Slightly obscure mail day today. 2004 Topps Traded & Rookies set had relic decoy checklists. On the front was a puzzle displaying the full series 1 & 2 set. The Yadier Molina is nicely displayed on one. Already had the blue back (retail), today I added the red back (hooby).
